Pregnancy Harassment Attorneys

What is Pregnancy Harassment?

An employee cannot be harassed because he or she is pregnant, has recently given birth, or has a medical condition related to pregnancy or childbirth.

Pregnancy harassment can become unlawful when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile work environment. The harasser can be a supervisor or manager, a supervisor or manager from another department, a co-worker, or someone who is not even an employee, such as a vendor, customer, or client.

Harassment may be physical, verbal, or written and can include offensive or derogatory comments, jokes, gestures, cartoons, or pictures related to pregnancy.
